Just to cheer you up further, I'd bet that the cost of Coutts', Wallace's and Woolford's remaining contracts are similar to the fee we've just pocketed.

Them cunts don't deserve minimum wage for the 'work' they've done.

Their next jobs will be Pizza Hut or something.
 
Have read 100's of posts on here but not all as the overall theme seems to be good business for a potentially very good but inconsistent player, but subject to reinvesting and improving the squad and I agree with this.

Thanks for storming onto the scene v Spurs and I wish you well - oh. and grow up and work harder to realise your potential!

Time will tell, but for me he never reached is true potential. That said he scored around 12 goals last season I think. Someone else has to pick up the baton.
Get it? Baton, pick up? Olympics!! :)

Well in fact after selling MacDonald we got Adams so not such a disaster then? All clubs sell players and acquire new ones. We will replace Adams, hopefully with one or two players who actually get in the starting XI.

It is a shite state of affairs to be in. I personally am surprised Adams has been snapped up by a Champinship club though because I think he is just average as the rest of them to be honest
 
Apparently thinks he's joining a massive club?! Don't think so personally but each to his own, and fair play for the tweet he said about United. Out of the two clubs we're the bigger, but I know that just sounds sour, but its true! At the end of the day that matters little, as they'e in a higher league. We need players who want to be part of Wilder's plan rather than think that a move to Birmingham is too good to turn down! Even if I wasn't a Blade I'd not leave United for the Blues!

Just listened to his interview, and its fair to say that moving near Leicester is one of the main reasons. He could of course moved to Sheffield in the midweek but chose not too, but if I played for Leicester I'd certainly not leave Sheffield either and rather travel. He keeps going on about them been massive! Just makes me laugh. I like the Blues though so all the best to them. I'd say the Blues are set for about 7th or 8th.

I agree to an extent Roy but when he's on he's really on as he has shown in glimpses since his debut - that potential is what Brum are paying for so if they can get the best out of him, so be it. Shame he didn't progress with us as we all hoped he would but hopefully we can be a better squad for this division without him if the money is used to reinvest.

We bought Baxter and Cuvellier to replace McDonald.

His massive club comments are daft. They averaged several thousand less than us last season despite being a division higher. But I suppose it's the sort of comment many new signings make.

We do forget how young he is, 18 only just turned 20 a few weeks ago
15 goals in 55 aps. I've said it before there's not many forwards that young that do 'run games'or 'stand out head and shoulders above the rest consistently'. Many start standing out at there early 20's at best unless there unbelievably speedy..

It's exactly the kind of comment a player is expected to make when signing for a new club. Don't read into anything new signings make, just as people shouldn't read into anything Managers say. It's all waffle and scripted PR.
