He hasn't deleted. Just gone private. Some "fans" giving him shit about a fake tweet or something.
sparkymcnulty says he has - "Bray has asked me to let everyone know he deleted his account early today. Some fake tweets going about!"

The way to tell the genuine one, was that he followed @s24su :)

That or ask him for a photo of his s24su Brayford tshirt :)

Coutts has gone as well (off twitter that is) edit: and Che29Adams, dropping like flies!

There is at least one fake account on Twitter, which is @brayfordiohn, which almost looks like @brayfordjohn

I usually look at the number of followers (unless that can be faked too :) )

Why would he delete his account after a few fake tweets though?

Presumably Becsuse he was hacked and before someone starts using it to tweet more serious stuff like link to racist or even more dodgy websites that sort of thing.

dunno, as I didn't see how the fake tweet was done. If it was a photoshopped screenshot with his real username appearing to be in it then that would be one good reason to.

"Happy to get rid of the beard"!!!!!!?????
Are there some undercover Wendy's on the forum!!!??????

It's piss easy to create images that look as though the real account has tweeted it.

If every footballer deleted their account after someone did that there'd be none left.

I can only assume his account was hacked and the tweet genuinely came from his account, which is I suppose a good reason to delete as Za says above.

What kind of Fucking loser pretends to be someone else on twitter!?
I understand trolls get a kick out of winding people up, but fake footballer and celebrity accounts- what a world full of tossers we live in.

Personally I wish all our players would pay more attention to doing what they are paid to do and wilder banning them from Twitter Facebook and talking to those imbeciles at the Sheffield Star saying "what they're going to do"

Fuckin' GET IN.

35yd screamer. Keeper stood NO Chance.

Sure I read somewhere earlier that the tweets were about his Mrs or something, not anything to do with the club, they came after when everyone started speculating about where his account had gone

no, have a look upwards. I just spotted twofootedtackle 's post #186 - it was from an account with 1 follower.

If that's what it was, that's even less of a reason to delete than a fake photoshopped tweet is.

However, I think that's in addition to the fake tweet/hacking myself.
well maybe he's just had enough of twitter. Shame in a way though as they do some good things with it as well - one retweet about a charity appeal from these players with their many thousands of followers gets seen by an awful lot of people.

Some sad fuckers also done this...

Some Grunter put out a fake tweet, the miserati & those with spuds the size of cashew nuts bought it hook, line & sinker.

Middle aged men throwing insults eh? Tut tut. ;)

Have always said that to open any account online, including social media you should have to prove who you are by passport, driving license, proof of address. Was more to cut out the fiddlers but these days it will cut the trolls in half. If you don't want to provide proof of who you are and don't think there should be comeback, get off the net

I'm with you in principle but if a forum I'm using gets hacked, as they do from time to time (edit: not forums I'm using BTW just forums in general ;) ), I don't want those kind of details floating round in a spreadsheet for sale on the dark net, bad enough having to change your passwords.
