28 pages on a player who looked distinctly average on his last visit to the lane even when up against Hammond and Coutts .......................... wow just feckin WOW.
He was the best player on the pitch when we beat Chesterfield at the Lane early last season. He wasn't up against Hammond, who hadn't signed for us then. Had we not signed Hammond, and got Morsy instead for a fraction of the money as we could and should have done in January, the season might have turned out very differently.

He was bang average.

I'm embarrassed to say I've never heard of it! I usually just go on Wikipedia to read about United or find out info on players we're interested! Occasionally I go on Wikipedia for something more wholesome like where was Porridge filmed etc! Ha ha! Sad but true!
HUH ?
Why would you film porridge - it just sits there steaming like a fresh turd (or Hammond)

I thought Adams was – unlucky not to have a hat-trick. Can't remember any Chesterfield player being remotely noticeable to be honest. Even Conor bloody Sammon had a decent game in that one!

Monty's done films?! I don't get the joke there mate.

Also the sub
Have you seen hw many roles Monty has done on TV and Film, in the "suggest a shit show for a Blade" thread? Morsy will need to be a very versatile actor if this is the case
Also films about 'im
I Was Monty's Double

Yes I remember that game, and thinking what a cracking player this guy was in there midfield. He ran the game. Don't know how we won it.

Looks like Wigan will be selling another midfielder, Emyr Huws, Leeds interested. But they may be signing Leon Osman. I wouldn't say that improves our chances with Morsy.

If Morsy dosen`t sign there will be a mass suicide the like of which hasn`t been seen since that in 1537 when 87 million Pigs leaped to their deaths of Stannage Edge when God said they wouldn`t have a football team until 1867.[/QUOTE

Why don't we all just sit sit back, wait and see. Then if it happens, HALLELUJAH. Then if it doesn't, NOTHING LOST.

You sir are a liar!!!!!
Sammon NEVER had a decent game for us, he falls into the Hammond/Woolford specialist area........UTTER SHITE!

Agree 100% with this.

Seen Morsy a good few times as occasionally watch Chezzie if Blades are playing too far away from home on a Saturday for me to be able to travel. He's quality. Ask any Chezzie fan.

Speaking to a Wigan fan who says he wouldn't be fussed if we signed him and said he was 'pretty ineffective in his half season with us'. Still think he'd be an upgrade on Basham.

People take time to settle. That said, a transfer to a confident team in form is the type of environment that would help a few to settle quickly. Some players will impress in poorer teams and then fail to replicate that at bigger teams. I'm not saying that would be the case with Morsy, but an inability to perform at Wigan could be down to that.

Some football fans are pretty stupid though and don't know what 'effective' looks like.

I would guess he has seen more of Morsy this season than you though Ricky.
