Yes, if they think BM was "full of" dickheads, they are also probably dickheads.

They might have a point now as there's fuck loads of pigs on there, with only a few decent posters left.

But back then, there were plenty of good posters, with a few wind up pigs on the side.

So to say it was full of dickheads is just stupid.

Adkins was possibly the most disappointing manager since Haslam
11 months to bring in players , not a clue
he was lucky he remembered Sharp wa a blade , that apart his selections were abysmal

now Wilders showing its possible to assemble a team with just a bit of guile and nous
got in defenders who can stand up for themselves abd some different options up front
midfield players that pass forward

2 more signings we wont be far off competing

we need an experienced keeper no matter what side of the Long debate is taken
cant rely on the under 21 kids for a promotion push

Well for example, the post you jumped in with initially.

I'd say it's very unlikely that anyone other than a dickhead could have wrote that.

Likewise, if someone says a place was "full of" dickheads when it clearly wasn't, and that after a whole 1 days evaluation, this person is also likely to be a dickhead.

Not permanently or not at all? No hope of reviving it? I thought this was a real goer given the Paul Mitchell connection? If not, we move on, of course. Fish in the sea plentiful. I'm sure other options have been identified.

Personally I'm delighted Tufty has concluded that we do need another alongside Fleck. We do. Basham is, as I've said before, nearly good enough in a few roles; but not quite in any of them...

I don`t think 6 seasons constitures "raw". I`d say if that`s the descriptive term you choose I`d choose manifestly sub standard.
His is far and away the most important role in the team and we are handicapped before kick off such is his utter lack of basic goalkeeping skills ranging from but not restricted to handling,positioning,decision making,commanding his area and ability to organise his defence.
I don`t for one moment believe any other promotion chasing club in League 1 would play him as first choice.

George seems quite comfortable and confident speaking to the media.

It's when he gets on the pitch he shits himself and has no authority about him.

That is his biggest problem if you ask me.

Hes a lot to learn but has the essentials just needs to age , like a good wine

But you're right it was never the same after the after that notorious Christmas downgrade.

I packed it up last year after it first refusing to recognise my log in for two months and then when I did get back on the adverts made it tedious and adblocker made it unusable.

Its hay day it was among the great forums along with the much missed 606. But this is now easily the best around, Foxy and Lindz do a terrific job.

We certainly did Za. Most only stumbled upon it because the club's old BladesUnited was closed a short notice but for years it was the go-to forum for really funny and more hardcore banter.

But like you say, this is light years ahead mate.

Unfortunately whilst his learning continues he costs us vital points. Loan him out again and sign a first choice keeper.
Just out of curiosity how old will George be when he ceases being raw?
There are plenty of good keepers around younger than he is.
IMO he is as good as he ever will be. He lacks assertiveness and a dominant personality.
These are unlikely to appear now and clearly aren`t inate qualities.
I would love him to own the shirt but as it stands he is too much of a liability.
