Good signing this. Brentford are known for a progressive approach in signings so the fact they picked him up is a good sign. They are pretty stacked at centre half, so seems like a good move all round.

Young, captained England at youth level not much to dislike. makes me more confident about the business wilder is doing.

I've got a very good feeling about this guy.

He captained Rochdale to promotion from L2 when he was 20. That's comparable to what James Wallace was doing for Tranmere. Difference is he's a centre half and doesn't have injury problems.

He could easily be worth a lot of money this time next year.

Sign a number of players like this, and you won't go far wrong in the long run.

fantastic signing, young but with experience at this level. Brentford saying he's a little raw for championship which is fine as in league one being a bully type centre half is just fine.
