OK then, hes got just under 2 weeks, get buying, get us playing well. He's set out his intentions (Again) follow them through and give us a victory next month against the pigs.
 
i ran our of patience with robson a while ago.
 
id rather get rid, hes proven hes no good, why keep him on wasting money?

i think the board half know it as no funds being spent, but dont want to eat humble pie and sack him.
 
In that article on the official site though he just seems to be talking about bringing more players in throwing money here there and everywhere. But, is that going to solve the problem - probably not. It will just give him another excuse for the us doing shite too - player's are still gelling.
 
And I just love the way that the Robson apologists seem to insinuate that anyone who doesn't think that he's ripping the heart and soul out of our club are somehow treacherous or fickle.

Exactly! Weve been through this before blades - We all know its no good and we are not playing to our potential or anywhere near enough heart/passion ... The fact is, we all know hes not going anywhere even though virtually everybody wants him to ... Cant we just get behind him (and if not him atleast the players) because this club - OUR CLUB is becoming a mockery ... When that joke of a club across the city, who cant fill a ground, afford to postpone a match, and afford to get a new pitch to replace their pond, when they start laughing at us things arent going right (which we all know) 1 thing is singing against the manager at the helm of OUR CLUB during a derby just doesnt help and we all know that!
 
Pretending everything's alright and that we're happy with the situation doesn't help either.
 
Perhaps the one real comment that relates to Mr McCabe at this moment in time is 'power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutly' he doesnt seem to be able to see the trees for the wood and do the right thing and get rid of that man.
 
why support a complete plank as manager and look more fools. run him out of town!
 
When you're angry simple solutions always work, in the morning when you sober up you realize life ain't so simple. I want the team on the field to win and all I can do is support them. I know if I were a player who had just run myself into the ground I would'nt appreciate most of the digs, turn it around and you know how you'd respond. We are fans, we find fault, shouting Warnock out! Robson out! McCabe out! releives frustration but doesn't help the team we're trying to support.

We do try, but when you'd rather mutiny than support your hopeless Admiral ...... the players are fine, but the 'manager' is merely a misnomer.

I agree, but taking the 'Ostrich route', and saying there's nothing we can say or do helps even less.

Full support is the only thing we can do, but if everyone's not careful, we may even end up having to play the likes of the Scabs and Weeds in the league, as Donny lord it over us.

That's how bad it could be, and that's how bad we are.
 
Let's face it they have been playing sucky and something has to give. Saying that doesn't mean we don't support the Blades it just means that we know that some changes have to be made to improve the quality of play and we are frustrated that those changes don't seem to be happening.

What is the point of being a fan if you cant have an opinion on what the team is doing (good or bad).

We should be playing better and something drastic needs to be done.

And we get the blame for trying to do something about it? we all want our team to do well, but sitting and watching that awful, nay embarrassment, performances and saying we need to back them is, to be frank, idiotic. Your happy just to sit and clap and watch that and say we will get it right eventually, 3 years, 5 years however long it be. from a team that got relegated by a goal to struggling in this division is not good enough. we have been here before in this division, and the best way out to battle your way out, something we don't have these days.

He isn't taking us down, he is holding us down if anything. But like i and many have said before, its partly down to the players too.

yes, at the end of the day, the buck stops at the manager. he cant motivate them and hes tactically inept

So if my manager doesn't motivate me every morning I don't have to bother??

I still do a good days work no matter what any manager says or does. If you don't that's your choice.

Not saying he should be here but if you think it's just his fault I don't agree.

I guess i'd better stop going then, because I havent chanted Robson out during the match. I go every week hoping we'll fail and do nothing about it, infact I must be helping us to fail because I try and support the players in a red and white shirt. When they are on the pitch in a blades shirt, I support them, no matter who they are.

I don't sit and clap in blind faith that we are doing brilliantly, I just think that booing them/slagging them off to the extent some people do is counter productive.

Whats the best way to help in get players battling for the team?, getting behind them, making them feel like 10-men and that they have 26k+ people behind them willing them on..... or shouting at them every time they make a mistake, calling them a "fucking pussy" and "useless girly cunt" because they've just been elbowed in the face and happen to be pouring with blood?

I follow the blades home & away every week and don't chant opposition managers names or boo/shout for our manager to be sacked during the game. I'm afraid it seems I'm an idiot and dragging this club down.
