I dont want che or DCL to go because they can improve massively and they will be good players
Ditto, if we get promotion we need the catylist of a young strong talented team to consolidate and push again. If we constantly have the bare minimum to succeed in our current league by definition it's not good enough for a higher league. It's called foresight mr McCabe/HRH.

Plan A B C and D is Macfadzean, this is all part of the negotiating process, he wants to come , we want him and MK can't afford to leave him rotting in the reserves

After having to pay Hammond the ransom money then maybe the sale of Dom would put money back in the coffers to get Kyle and a couple of others on board. We want players who are ready for league one now rather than waiting on "good" prospects. He's a good lad but we need it now after 5 years in this shitty league.

They won`t, that was all bluster from Robinson, clubs dont keep unhappy players.

Think we`ll get McFadzean by the weekend.

Think its Wilder playing the game and trying to get it sorted. Hea not exactly gunna say "were desperate for Kyle and will wait for him as long as it takes and pay what MK ask for" is he?! To me hes playig a game of brinksmanship and saying we will pay x for him but we aint gunna be here waiting for ever...accept it or we move on. I think hes clearly the one who he would dearly love to get. Fingers crossed as i think he would be just what we need.

With you on this B56 and Bladestanman. Yes we need to get out of this poor league NOW but we also need to plan for the future. Neither of them may be good enough for the Prem at the mo (or ever?) but if they continue to develop we have a better asset than currently. How many times have we moaned about selling our best players/prospects too soon, too readily and too cheaply. If HRH and Mccabe really are serious about SUFC then a lot of consideration needs to go into selling either Che or DCL.

...I'm not sure Hammond's pay off will have been that much...even if he was on £10k a week (rumoured to be £5k), that's under £500k...of which we probably would pay up maybe half?
Although, obviously, it has some impact, it's a convenient 'hate figure' to blame and I'm sure 'other factors' are far more relevant to the pond we're now fishing in...

Don't know BMS, DCL has been criticised by one or two, especially as it now appears that he is on his way out, for not setting the world on fire after a handful of games in the first team, shades of Diego.

True but how many times have you seen young prospects fail to fulfil their potential? You can't just say that because someone is young enough to improve, they definitely will improve.

Your right BB, just that some seem to get it in the ribs having hardly kicked a ball for the first team whether that be an alleged attitude problem or a perceived lack of ability. I have high hopes for young Dom and would wish him to stay, just I had with Diego.

If we absolutely have to sell one of our 'Better' players I would rather see Brayford go as I think we have seen the best out of him already.

I trust Wilder on this. He's had him and Diego on loan so he knows what they're like.

So you'd get rid of a good, experienced player who, if he gets back to his best, will be a huge asset so that we can keep a kid who might be a good player in a year or so?

Sorry but it all seems to be turning into a bit of a mess, I don't see anything so far that will get us out of League one, Honestly, take a look at the players we have so far and now we are talking about getting rid of Cha and Harry's suggested Breyford, Well?

Cha? Lovely. Milk no sugar please.

One player we can be sure of that Wilder knows more about than any of us is DCL. If he thinks there's a chance he will become a great player, keep him. Absolutely no point in selling whatsoever, there's no benefit to it.

Unless of course he doesn't :)

True Danny. How many prospects did we discuss on BM? The likes of Scott Donnelly, Danny Green etc

Some do well, most don't.

And the benefit of selling him is that the money will be spent on rebuilding. On players we need now, not who might be good one day.
Because the less money our owners have to spend subsidising the wage bill, the more we have to spend on players.

Absolutely. May as well plug the black hole in the middle of the club with it if he doesn't. As long as we accept it won't go towards improving the first team. We don't do silly things like that
