Had a look on there myself a few days ago. He seems to have had a mixed career there. Good the season before last, then struggled as the entire Oldham team did before finishing the season strongly under Sheridan.

There is good potential in him, a lot of decent attributes, let's hope he can improve his weaknesses and fit in well with us. Good to have a centre half signed at last.

Sounds like we have signed another one with an attitude problem, so he should fit in well with the squad we have.

We will have to see how he performs and hope the Oldham fans are wrong.
 
3 CB's to come in. Mr. Wilson will get his chance and if he gets face on or flops, he'll be duly rotated. Don't see CW as the type to let a mardarse run rampant, so let's see what transpires.

I wonder who signs any of our ex players if they go on what our fans put
lets face it those we like only get begrudging praise at best
whoever buys hammond if they do a what blades fans thought of him thread theyll be in for abuse like theyd never seen before
 
TBH I think anyone will do just so CW can field a team in a few weeks time. Sounds shit as do some of the others rumoured but heyho. If he can't polish a turd he can roll em in glitter.

Their fans say he would be OK with a good CB alongside him...... we'd be feckin lucky, two cb's yer avin a laffff

no , the only thing proved last season was Adkins was a useless twat,
he single handedly made players look worse by having no clue on any formations
dare say some of them will look better used properly , not all of them , obviously

in the same way Woy made the cream of English football look like crewe reserves

Sounds that way, hopefully CW can get the best out of him. Good man managers can get the best out of players who might be considered to be "ordinary".

CW indicates he knows JW lost his form etc, knows he has to step up to playing for a club like ours. Very Warnock-esque signing IMO.
