It's apparently been hotting up with transfer activity over last weekend and this week. I think I have pneumonia.

We're giving Wilder a lot of good will here but what's different from previous managers? Apart from what he says?

It is early days in terms of transfers but maybe Chris wants to learn something about managing expectations.
 



Same old lines.

We have to hope Wilder lives up to what he says, or he just becomes known as another manager charged with spouting the Club rhetoric to try and keep the fans onside.

Time will tell, but I have the same concerns I have had for a while.

It's not really the managers fault we are broke though is it? At least not this managers fault or the previous one.

The one before that though well...

Well, I'm just going off his own words. He wants (almost) everyone in place by today. Not happened. This week will be hotting up. Not happened.

So yeah, explain to me why he's currently any different to any other manager we've had recently. Hollow promises.

For the record, I'm not anti-Wilder. Far from it. But I'm hearing the same shit I've heard for the last God knows how many years.

I'm 100% behind Wilder but he's spouting a different version of the same old shit we've heard for years.

If the same thing happens all the time, you look for the common factor. It's called Kevin.

And, to be frank, the same people spouting "trust Nigel 1" or "Trust Nigel 2" are doing the same again. Same with every manager we've had. Why is Chris Wilder any different because 'he's a fan' or because 'he speaks common sense' and 'tells it like it is'

Evidence shows the last point is bollocks.

But our manager said that most of the business would be concluded by today. Our manager said that it would be hotting up this week.

My main point, which is being ignored, is that we're being told something and getting something distinctly different yet again.

If he'd said nothing then I wouldn't be posting this.

There must be a reason why we've not signed more players. I would say that reason isn't likely to be our manager,

We still have 0 centre backs. Practice games must be hard.

CW is a blade, not a board puppet, he would not gave taken the job without having been given assurances, his personal love and respect for sufc would not allow it

CW lined up 10 new signings all from Europe, however due to the Brexit we can't afford them anymore
