Southend away on a Tuesday night in February :(

We'll have played Shrewsbury twice by November 19th.

An aside -

For all this talk of "Saturday - Tuesday - Saturday", there's not much Tuesday involved in the modern, stretched-out season.

(I suppose you do have to take account of the added burden of the new "EFL Champions League, Featuring Premier League under-21 sides" though.)

Oh good, Ched will be fully firing in time for his visit to Bramall Lane, and as a bonus it could be hugely important game for us.

You forget that there could be cup replays,fa cup runs and weather postponements involved.

December looks good for us. Three winnable games at home, one away, at Coventry.

First three games look good for 7 points but the two first away games are two of the hardest.

Some divided loyalties for the Cheddy Fan Boys in that one, eh?

Bristol Rovers, Away, Valentine's Day. Good luck, chaps! :D

My easiest away trip, was hoping for a Saturday in August for an all-dayer, now the worst of both worlds. Freezing, working till 6pm, and endless earache from the wife for being out on Valentine's Day.

Happy with that, home twice on festive fixtures of boxing day hopefully less eventful than last boxing day match v oldham & Northampton on new years eve, then away on national day 3rd time in about decade & half. Home on the final day

Question if anyone knows. Why does the league 1 season finish a week earlier than the championship. 30th apr > 7th may

I used to look at the League One fixtures and think they are all winnable. Now every one looks tricky/difficult/impossible.

Disagree, looking at that lot we don't even need any centre halves, what a piss poor pot we are swimming in.

The Bury game away on the Monday 2nd Jan 3pm is a wierd one ............

I assume some will take the Bank Holiday from the Sunday the 1st and use it Monday

Some will take that back into the Christmas week, so you only need 2 days hols to make a full week

and would be at work on that Monday

The league has decided to play all last day fixtures in Championship, L1 and L2 on different Saturdays.

The last day of the season is now 3 bloody weeks long. Another bright idea from
