I was talking to a Fulham fan sat behind me at the Blades legends game and was told he is rubbish!!

Ched cost 3mil from one of the best teams in world football.
Dan Burn got released by a team that's had that few recent good players they had to put a statue up of someone who didn't know what football was let alone be able to point Fulham out on a map.
Personally I rated ched in the championship. He was a 21 year old kid in a sinking team, he had a lot to learn still (on and off the pitch) but I doubt many of our recent strikers would manage 9 goals in that league.

I'd be happy with that, after years in this league I don't care if we have to get rid of every single player after promotion as long as we actually get promoted!

The more we get rid of, the more replacements we have to find. I have no confidence that the club had the capability to
source eight or nine players good enough for promotion and within budget and get the deals done before the start of the season.

Bear in mind CW last month was looking at players who would play for Northampton and would be good enough to keep them in L1. Few of those will be suitable for us and a promotion campaign. We have no scout. CW is talking about bringing someone in and even that hasn't happened. And if we do, how many players will this bloke have on his shortlist that are good enough to get us out of this league?

And what's happened to the work Turnbull did? Who owns his scouting reports? The club or him? Have we got his list of potential targets or did we let him take it when we sacked him?

Yes and at a combined 30k a week salary they ought to look half decent in the third tier !!!

Whereas Wilford and Hammond on a combined 20k+ a week were awful in the third tier !!
 
I have every confidence we will bring in the players to push for promotion this coming season. Just because CW was looking to sign players for Northampton doesn't mean he has tunnel vision and doesn't know better level targets. Give CW a bit of credit as he has had relative success at all of the clubs he has been at up to date and why would he fail here ? As for Turnbull's targets, would you really want to trust his judgment after last seasons debacle ?

Believe and trust in the decisions CW makes, we know for certain he won't fail for the want of trying !!!
 
I could figure the Pinchy reference to the Lobster, but I never got the Fanny Craddock, unless she was stirring some thing. Then again why have I got an eight year old BHS "hottie" called Esmerelda the Unicorn who was last seen in San Francisco? By the way, if any one knows where Esme is we would like her back. Thank you.
 
I really hope I can keep my Dan Burn tattoo on my nob. The pain of having it replaced is not something I want to go through, fuck that!
