Davy Gysbrechts. We bought him for £200k from Lokeren, he was here 3 years and only started 9 games.
 
This thread would be a lot shorter if we had to list the genuine top of the tree talent we've ever had. And when I say genuine top of the tree talent, I mean just that, not ordinary players who looked ok whilst playing for us in our unique Blaayyyhhhddeess Waahhyyy

I liked Deane, our best player over the last 30 years but he still falls under the category of "ordinary players who looked ok whilst playing for us in our unique Blaahhyydess Wahhyyy"

Maybe being a bit unfair, maybe he was a bit better than ordinary, but he wasn't absolute top notch quality all the same.
Great for us as he stood out but very ordinary everywhere else he played.
 



Whoever said Michael Twiss, great shout.
Was gonna be a Man Utd star.....went on to represent Leigh, Morecambe and Staylbridge Celtic....
