Who is the player that has had the shortest amount of game time at United? I'm talking of players that have tasted first team competitive action, not players that have been named in the squad and not played, or players that have only played in friendlies. So preferably we're looking for a player that was thrust into action on 91 minutes in order to run the clock down and never played again.

Over to you folks. I'll start you off with an easy one to beat. Lee Baxter, 45 mins.

League Cup

Hartlepool 2-0 Sheffield United

Kingsley James started the match but was replaced by Jamie Ward in the 66th minute.

He never played for us ever again.

Brian Launders. I think he played 11 minutes at Crewe as a sub. Manager got sacked (or left) and never played again.

Dries Boussatta, subbed on was shit subbed off, 10 mins at most

Championship

Sheffield United 1-0 Swansea

Danny Batth replaced Ched Evans in the 89th minute and then never played for us ever again.

I win. :)

Harry Bunn Two sub appearances about 35 mins in total.

Roy Ridge was with us for 11 years but played in only 13 (I think) 1st team matches!

Can we count current players? I'm sure the only time Graham Kelly's had was as a late sub at Cov?
