"On the day we got promoted, he opted to spend his time celebrating with the disabled fans at the edge of the pitch rather than with everybody else in the middle.

A HUGE loss to our club, make no mistake about that. “

This comment stood out, reading Northampton fans views in Wilder and Wilders own comments its clear that a connection between fans and team to build a club is very important to him. And boy do I wanna see that happen here so we can Bramall Lane rocking again, everyone pulling together and each other up at the same time.

Ive learnt at this level to judge them on the putch because in L1 & L2 we dobt have the money to buy someone with reputation. defensive problems are necessarily a worry yet because that seems to be hiw football has gone now. Compared to 15 yrs there are very few world class defenders & RB/LB seem to be more 2nd wingers now look at L baines D alves Marcelo & L shaw

We're gonna win the league aren't we

Yeah sad really, I always liked Gannon. He scored a screamer v Forest that I remember fondly!

Didn't he do the same at Southampton as well the week before/after?

It sounds like it will all go tits up. This is all too positive.
Is it? To add a bit of balance, a few quotes, for whatever reason, not mentioned in the "View On";

"Clearly not good enough for league one"
"Never a great fan of Hussey"

Another guy says the only one he's gutted about leaving was someone else.

Which is in addition to comments on his defensive weaknesses already included. Far from the unanimous verdict we gave when we lost Murphy, Maguire etc. Small sample size, but from what we can go on, it's not the sort of reaction from a fanbase that have just lost their best player.

The not good enough for league one quote was a piss take i think as there were a number of ..... after the post. I presumed that it was a jibe at posters who had once claimed he wasn't good enough for league one. That's why I left it out. I don't see how a player who has moved to club with aspirations than Bury would be classed as "clearly good enough for league one ". I'm pretty sure it was a sarcastic comment

I didn't see the second comment you mention but I think there is a fair balance in the comments I've picked. Its not all praise

Cheers roy,
I always like to read about fans slagging us off but these links about new signings are even more useful because I couldn't remember Hussey for the life of me.

We will have to see what his defensive qualities are like, but sounds good going forward. I am hoping that next season we spend plenty of time on the front foot instead of approaching every fixture worrying about the next opponents, which we seem to have done for the last season or two.

I read an article from Flitcroft that said "He's the best left back in league 1"

I take it with a pinch of salt but I would also take the fans slagging him off with a pinch of salt to balance it out :)

Can't be worse than Jay Mc or Done playing there.

Looks like we are setting our stall out to try to outscore the opposition.

Adam Virgo on twitter:

"Chris Hussey best left foot and set play taker in the division by far..Good signing"

When a player leaves you ahould always add 1 to 2 out of 10 to the player ratings, and when they sign you should always take 1 to 2 off the player ratings. :)

Don't trust Rupert 'Roygbiv' Murdoch's selective quotes!!! He's trying to make us think these are good signings...

Funny thing is I thought both players brought a mixed bag of views. If WHF was doing it then we would really be excited
