Asked my ITK about this. He doesn't know if they were two of the nine players that already agreed to join us earlier this year (I did say that my ITK doesn't know who the players are). Whether Duffy and Hussey were the players that were decided by Atkins, the Technical board or Wilder, then my guess is as good as yours. It is now unlikely that my ITK will carry on to be my ITK for the time being

Don't think they are Adkins men Silent, Wilder already said that Hammond and Woolford don't fit in to the way we are going to play.
These will be players that Wilder ha followed for a while)( more or less said that in his last interview) as he also said value for money,these two
look just that. 2 centre backs next hopefully!!!

Agree with this, surely if these were Adkins men then McCabe would not have been so vocal about a manager who can get the best players from League One and League 2? He would have signed the deals off, seen who Adkins was bringing in and left him in the managers job?
