Oxford just up the road for me. Looking forward to seeing the Blades there - Wilder's history there should give it an edge.
Shut the bloody pub though haven't they?

There could be 46 windows smashed in a season with those kind of books.Only because derbies throw the form book out of the window.![]()
And from Low Edges/Jordanthorpe it must be quicker to get to Chesterfield's ground than Bramall Lane.
The fewer derbies we have, the better I like it![]()
I remember that game, set of time wasting game-killing bastards.
If Wimbledon get promoted and beat them next season, I imagine that pretty much the whole football community will rejoice.
Less derbies - a good thing?.
I think Forest did pretty much the same when they came to Bramall Lane at the end of the 2008-9 season.
They had a man sent off early on and from what I could see, any slight intention that they may have had of playing any football at all evaporated there and then. They were truly appalling. Brian Clough would have been apoplectic with rage had he been alive to see it.
I think in that afternoon they lost any self deluded right to lecture us on how football should be played!
Was Billy Davies their gaffer at the time? They played some of the most horrible, stalling, anti-football I've ever seen under him. Doesn't help that I can't stand Forest anyway.
