Bradshaw and Sharp upfront with Adams coming in from the left would be a good Championship strike force never mind LG1

Sorry, it definitely wouldn't be.

Sharp would be the pick of the bunch at Championship level and he's hardly excelled there recently.

If Bradshaw and Adams had kicked on as they could've done then you might be right.

Its obvious the rumour is utter bullshit. However Ricky, whilst we are desperate to strengthen in other areas, striker position for me is just as important As a collective, the striker department, like the other departments just doesn't have the depth. As I've said in another thread, owt happens to BS and we are fked

I agree we need a striker but it's not the priority, as a minimum next season we at least have Sharp and Adams. I'd like someone with physical presence and someone with pace and trickery to supplement what we've got. Novak and Obika would be two decent free transfers.

Lets get Bradshaw in, we must be about ready to make another transfer of a Walsall player - Brandy, Cuvellier and Butler all worked out well... We can surely make a mess with Bradshaw as well.

I have a feeling that the forward we sign will be a free, and will have knowledge of the club, be from Wales, you know who I mean SSSHHHH

Anthony Forde is the Walsall player I'd be straight in for. Young, versatile, well balanced winger with a lot of potential. Sawyers too if possible.

Fingers crossed.

That would be a shocking waste of money.

Bradshaw's stagnated big time. And we're far more desperate in almost every other position.
Stagnated? He's just had his second best goal scoring season, and if he scores again he will have equalled it.
The kids 23!
Of course I'd want him, I agree the money could and should be spent elsewhere but if we get some strong signings in other positions too then I'm all for it.

He's not scored many in the second half of the season and he's found himself out of Walsall's team on a number of occasions. He has stagnated. Despite being the focal point in a good (or at least winning) team he's not scored more than last season. He should've easily had 20 by the standards he set last season. He also has issues with his hamstrings and is quite similar to Sharp, which are negatives.

If we sorted the other positions I'd take him, but not for more than 500k.

I forgot to mention the money, I wouldn't pay nowhere near 1.2m for him.
I agree, 500k tops. I forget what we payed for Done but I'd pay around that mark maybe slightly more due to his age.

Here's the first one to surface that I've spotted:

FL Transfers ‏@FLtransfer99
Sheffield United look to be capturing @WFCOfficial striker Tom Bradshaw for around £1.2 million

Sharp and Adams are slowly building a good partnership and they're both good players individually. McNulty will be back whom despite being frustrating at times does offer a good bit of competition in my opinion and then we have someone Wilder knows well in young Dominic. We are fine there. It would be the last thing on my shopping list at the moment.

We have slightly differing opinions on how good our strikers are Patrick

As things stand today, I don't believe our strike force has the depth required for a promotion winning side. Numbers, yes. Quality, not quite

Appreciate we aren't forced to agree but I'm basing my comments on fact. Billy Sharp got 21 goals this season, Che Adams got 11 (32 between them). Marc McNulty has 10 on loan at Portsmouth and got 10 for us last season. I don't need an opinion to see we have enough goals there.

Absolutely

And for me 10 goals in a season aint enough for an out and out striker

As I keep saying, owt happens to BS and we are fked

Yes but you're ignoring the fact that Adams played 25% of his time on the left hand side and that McNulty mostly featured from the bench. On both counts those are decent records.
