Almost a month after his first appearance in front of an assembled crowd of Blades supporters, David Weir will once again be fielding questions from the United faithful in a second “Meet The Manager” forum.
Held at the Holmelea (Old Handsworth WMC) tonight (Monday 19th August 2013), the gaffer will be attending a similar function to the previous Q&A with Kevin McCabe as the Handsworth Blades Official Supporters Club welcome him to a re-arranged evening.
Doors will open at 6.45pm and the manager will take part in a question and answer session in what should give an interesting insight to his thoughts and feelings having begun his first season proper and the early pressures of losing a player he’d have rather have kept hold of in Kevin McDonald.
The event is open to Handsworth Blades Supporters Club members and memberships will also be taken on the night (£3 membership fee, £1.50 Concessions – add £2 if you want a pin badge). There will also be a £1 charge on the door, which will be donated to charity.
Don’t worry if you aren’t able to attend, as ever, we’ll be covering the event live for you here on S24SU.com and via our Twitter feed – twitter.com/s24su.
Many of you will want to proffer your opinions and debate the evening with fellow Blades; whilst we’ll be a little busy covering proceedings to respond ourselves (though we occasionally do so during breaks!) you’ll be in good company on our forum – http://www.s24su.com/forum – where you can set the world to rights 24 hours a day.
