Jon Ronson wrote a book about public shaming that has become a part of twitter and Facebook culture. An interesting debate how the reaction can become viral and ruin people. I don't advocate that kind of reaction personally. That said, I can't even consider the mindset of someone that thinks that writing something like that can be OK on any level.
