We have some choices do we develop players like Brooks knowing it may cost us points

Or go to Osborn who will be more solid defensively but maybe won’t be here next season.
Whilst we still have a chance to stay up play the players who are more likely to contribute a 6/7 out of 10 on a frequent basis - so that excludes Brooks who has great potential but can’t be relied upon at the mo - that’s not his fault by the way

In the cup game our press was awful and they just played through us with good football. They're a good side with a goal threat but they also concede plenty.

With a points deduction almost certain for Forest and another one possible for Everton, we aren't out of it. Admittedly we need a big upturn in form but we've shown glimpses of it under Wilder. Beat Brighton and we could in theory be four points off safety. Luton's next three games are Man U, Liverpool and Man City (Admit they could get something v Man U).
Everton and Forest and any potential points deduction is irrelevant to us. We're 7 points off 17th and that's all that matters. If Luton lose their game in hand then that'll help, if not 10 points is a no go given how slowly and irregularly we're picking up points.

Why is it irrelevant? If they both get points deductions that could put the 2 of them and us and Burnley on very similar points. We then have to win that league of 4 and hope that Luton and Palace get drawn into it too

Yes, we need to look at it that way in case Forest and Everton escape with a slap on the wrist. If it's announced in April that, say, Forest are to be deducted six points and Everton an additional five, it will be very relevant ti us IF we've picked up enough points to stay in touch.

Bottom line is we need to pick up as many points as we can. Regardless of potential points deductions, we need to better Burnley's results and keep pace with the rest. Any points deductions will be a welcome bonus.

We just need to win as many games as possible. That's it really.

Doubt many would disagree with that.

Brighton have had a great season so far and were unlucky to lose at Spurs last weekend. They'll be favourites on Sunday. But we definitely have a chance. Just need to keep it tight. If we are chasing the game we could lose by a few.
