Last Saturday we were odds on for deafeat. Today, optimism much, much higher. I have feeling the team will be more confident. Reading about Palace have their own issues, so may be less confident. Crowd could be the difference maker.
 

That’s one of the worst starting 11’s ever in the premier league surely. Not that I think any of us expected any different given where the squad is at currently. Still a point is a result today

Can understand Souza as hes only been here 5 minutes and trusty because JLT was good last year but if slimani isn’t preferred to Osborn or basham in midfield (in 2023!!). He can’t have impressed so far - like at all.

That midfield and forward line is BAD. League 1 BAD
 

I feel this is one last cry for help from Hecky. The Palace team looks fast and tricky. All our pace is on the bench. Bash Norwood and Osborn must be the slowest and most negative midfield we could come up with.

My memry of that match was the cameras being fixated on Brendan Rodgers in crowd rather than the actual football, his son was on the bench for them.

That and their keeper had a mare ("3-0 and you fucked it up..."), he went to Rangers not long after, don't know what happened to him though 😛

In Hecky and I think maybe Slimane’s defence I think given where the squad is at Hecky might’ve decided to go with players he knows today if we’re not going to have much of the ball and not be able to do much with it when we have got it those who know there roles defensively might have been a priority for him
 
Those people saying we owed the Prince an apology if we thought the squad was poor have gone very very quiet.

Did we even put out a weaker squad when everyone was out with COVID?!
 
Big support needed today for the whole team but especially the two young lads up front it’ll likely be a day of lost causes and scraps for them and they’ll probably need a lift from the crowd
