Entertainment is secondary. Victory by any means necessary takes precedence above all else.

win at home draw away at 2nd place clubs a decent result would take that for the rest of the season

not losing is achievable winning every game is pie in the sky stuff

We won't win every time. But aiming to do so gets draws where we could otherwise lose.

Could be a bumper crowd next Saturday as all those who've given up on United over the last few years start sneaking back in from the woodwork

Speaking to Bradford fans they said we are easily the best side they've played this season
And they were very confident we will win the league.

IMO that`s bang out of order.
Given the utter shit that`s been served up for years our crowds are amazing and totally undeserved.

something that needs taking into account is United have already played away at 4 of the other top 5 clubs in the top 6 apart from us
bradford bolton scunny and Wimbledon , only bristol rovers to play

scunny have yet to go to any of them

10 goals in 3 games, 2 of which were away from home, is fantastic. When was the last time we scored 3 or more goals 3 games in a row?

It's not only the goals though, it's the intent. At 3-3 today we were playing to win, make no mistake. This team plays to win and has character and desire. It really is good to see. Would we have got a point from the losing positions we were in at Scunny and Bradford in previous seasons? Not a chance.

like today
cant see many teams going to bradford and having 17 attempts on goal

As we are doing with some regularity now. Of course it doesn't just "happen". You need proper footballers playing the right way and doing it well. Then you win and entertain as well. The two concepts are very comfortable together.

I was talking to a few today who'd given up on us, and are now fully signed up again.

But seemingly very difficult to combine. Until now. :)

We don't know who the top 6 clubs are until May. They certainly won't be the present top six. Four of them might well be. No more. It's all illusory at the moment.

However I have a very strong feeling that one of the present top six will be top at Christmas and it ain't Scunthorpe...

In its simplest terms this is the difference. How long have most of us said 3 shots on goal will never win you a football match in 90 minutes. The single biggest thing Wilder has done is to have our players making and taking up positions to get shots on goal. Sounds simple doesn't it. Adkins never seemed to get it and Clough had it then lost it in his second season.
