Found it here, ahead of their involvement in the CONCACAF Nations League: http://7newsbelize.com/sstory.php?nid=46920

Team Belize also has an infusion of new talent in the form of 16 year-old Angelo Cappello, a Belizean-born who’s family moved to the UK when he was 11. The up-and-coming footballer was discovered by scouts representing the British professional football team, Sheffield United Football Club. They saw him in action as part of a local football team and they offered him a 6-week stint at their training camp. After that session, he signed a 2-year deal with them, which clearly indicates the potential they see in this teenager.

The Jaguars drafted him for tomorrow’s game, where he will play striker along side, Belize’s leading goalscorer, Deon McCaulay. We got a chance to speak with both athletes about their developing dynamics as part of the country's offensive line:

Deon McCaulay - Striker, Team Belize

"Most of the players have already been training before - have been playing before together. For the most part, the players that we have are players that played the first 2 games already. Angelo is new. He just came in, so we’re just building the chemistry with him and me. But, with the other guys, we have the chemistry already because we’ve been playing together before. It’s always a work in progress. We work on it every day in training, and that’s what’s important."

Angelo Cappello - Striker, Team Belize
"When I first came, everybody was very welcoming, and helpful, especially on the field yesterday, when we played the friendly match. Especially with Deon speaking to me, telling me where he wants me to go, and me telling him where he would want to go, playing with each other is very helpful for me, especially as a young player. Coming in to the team, not really knowing - I mean I know them; I just don’t know how they play. So, for him to be speaking to me, and helping me, we move together, passing to each other, both of us ended up scoring a goal. So, good result overall, and hopefully tomorrow, we’ll do the same."

Deon McCaulay
"We have a lot of quality players. It’s not just me and him. This is about 11 players, and like I tell the guys, anybody who scores, we still win the game. That’s what’s important. It doesn’t matter who scores, as long as we win"

Angelo Cappello
"Getting called up for the National team for me is a privilege, to try and help obviously to get the win, because we need to win. Tomorrow, if everybody come out, I’m sure that they won’t be disappointed with all the players. We know what we need to do, and we just need the support from the rest of the country."
I've searched that game and our man wasn't even one of the eleven subso_O

Both of these lads are 2 of the best players we’ve ever had in our academy. Seen first hand they look at home playing with the first team in behind closed doors friendlies already. Lump on them breaking through.
Walker, Maguire, Jags (England) and Billy (this century's top scorer).
That's a big call s4-blade.

How bizarre. Seems he definitely did play last November for their U18 team, but odd that he didn’t feature in the game he suggested he was going to play in. Though did he play in the friendly at senior level mentioned in the run up to that Puerto Rico game?

Until his wiki page confirms it I'm not having it:p

Well done to both, but I'll get excited when they make the bench and then making appearances.
So far Wilder has been very cautious when it comes to introducing youth, and probably with very good reason given our complex playing style which has taken senior pro's a while to get used to. However I do feel it's a blind spot for us currently, especially as we've cut back our youth intake and academy investment over recent years. Now we should be aspiring to have top youth setup in the area now we're in the Premier League. Should the worst happen and we're relegated, having an top level academy which has been running at that level for several year to fall back could be a crucial factor in a quick return without making huge financial gamble.

I think it's because of the speed of our rise through the divisions. We haven't had a season under CW that just 'petered out' so we could give the yoots a chance. Add in CWs incredible loyalty to the core of the squad that's served us so well, and up-and-coming players were bound to have their opportunities limited.

I'm assuming this Brunt is a Sheffield lad then based on his picture as a little kid on his tweet.

Was he on our books initially before doing the rounds?

As well as Brunt and Capello, I've been told that 2 other lads got pro deals:

Tommy Williams
Tommy Williams - Defender - Development - Sheffield United

Harrison Neal

Under 18s 2-5 Wigan - report - News - Sheffield United

Academy watchers? (I know that Ball_Sup (Phil) has spoken positively about Neal on his blogs)

My main Harrison Neal story is from a game he WASN'T playing in. I love the story because it gives an insight into how our Academy worked (I've used past tense there because this happened in Travis Binnion's time). Essentially, it was a very low key U19 Academy game. Del Geary nominally in charge. But, presumably to make them think & give them responsibility, Harrison gave the half time analysis & tactical brief. You can read about it in this link. But, please, please note, I'm taking the piss out of Del, praising him not criticising him.

We picked Zac Brunt up from Matlock after he was released from Derby, didn’t we?

How’s Ryan Viggars been getting on Ball_Sup (Phil) ? With him already involved in the youth teams for Wales, I’ve been trying to keep an eye on his progress (hoping for an RND-esque rise) – seems he’d just agreed a work experience loan with Sheffield FC before the lockdown happened.

Here's one you can have for free. Ryan is one of the best "closer downer of keepers" I've ever seen. Seems to have an almost mathematical understanding of the angles. Yeah. He's progressing OK (imho). Fairly versatile up top striker. Runs the channels a lot. Works hard. Not sit up & take notice outstanding. But, progressing OK.

Would be interesting Phil to have run down of all our players over 16 who are involved with our academy programme.
The club arnt very forthcoming on information regarding academy and 1st and 2and year pros.
Not able to go to youth matches these days! I'm sure there's others like me who show an interest in these lads.
Great to see our own come through the challenging times to become a 1st team player.

Thing is I'm not at all knowledgeable about who is at what stage of their development & career. I pay no attention to that. And even if I did, I have no "skills" for retaining info like that. Also, I've never got any idea on ages. Since United dropped out of the North Midlands Development Football League, it's been much more difficult for me to see U18 games & players. As they mainly play Saturdays - and I'll often be watching the First Team. I'm basically saying - I'm not much use. Unless you want to know who can close down the keeper - on which, I'm your go to guy.
Let me have a think as to how I "might help"

Ryan apparently had an excellent game for Club in the FA Cup on Saturday. Scored one and should have had an assist, if Newsham hadn’t cocked it up. Mind you Newsham did get a hat trick!

Ryan was put through for his goal and calmly went round the keeper.
Club are now through to the First Round Qualifying away at Coalville Town on Tuesday night. I think it’s 6 more wins before Club get to Round 3, so not likely to see Ryan at the Lane just yet!

Zak Brunt looks to have been named in our 25-man Premier League squad, even though as an under 21 he doesn't need to be. It's quite a nice touch that his profile picture is in last season's academy shirt where all the others are in this season's first team version.

You sure that’s not just the website not fully reflecting the actual 25 man squad? You’ll see O’Connell is on the website first team list – he’s not in the squad either.

And Simon Moore.

Don't read too much into it Balham Blade

I'm not reading that much into it - Jack O'Connell's included and he's expected to be out until Easter at the earliest.

EDIT: unless, as LoughboroBlade says, it's just the PL website filling the gaps.

2nd EDIT: that is the case. Our official squad is 22.

GKs
Ramsdale, Foderingham, Verrips

DF
Baldock, Basham, Bryan, Egan, Jagielka, Lowe, Robinson, Stevens

MF
Berge, Fleck, Lundstram, Norwood, Osborn, Rodwell

FW
Burke, McBurnie, McGoldrick, Mousset, Sharp

First teamers classed as U21s (not named; *out on loan)
Ampadu, Bogle, Brewster, Dewhurst*, Norrington-Davies*, Slater*

Surprising too that his nationality is 'England'. I didn't realise England was a nationality.

I was quite impressed by the performances of Brunt in pre-season, I thought he looked the brighter of him & Regan Slater.

Hopefully he gets a loan move out to a League 1, or Championship club in January & gets himself some game time.

Any opinions on young Harrison Neal. I see they made him captain of 23s other day.

Sorry. I've basically mothballed my operation until football returns. So, all I'm offering at the mo' is searches. If you search .... as follows .... you'll see my opinions from the old days.

Brunt with an assist for the first goal, cool finish for the second. For the third it was also his finish which was blocked by a defender, then hit home by Jebbison.

If he's not sent out on loan maybe time to give him some playing time against Bristol Rovers?

It depends in a normal season I think we’d certainly see a few of these lads get at least bench time if not first team minutes in the cup. However this year wilder might trot the first 11 out to try and hand out a pasting and restore confidence especially the strikers it would do them good to put some chances away.
