You've only come to see The Blades

We'll move down the away one too.

We haven't played any of the bottom 7 worse home attended teams.

Still think we will be up there. If you are a floating fan of another team who would you make the effort to go and see?

Barnsley getting more than Wednesday. Top class pricing structure Mester Chansiri

Err? No they're not. You need to look at the home games table, then you'll see that Wednesday are 5th with an average of 27, 189. Blades are 7th with an average of 26,086. And Barnsley are 20th with an average of 13,990.

Then, you need to consider that Chansiri is charging almost £200 more for a season ticket (best seats) than we are at United - and then his pricing structure becomes a bit more clear.

Facts are, they've sold approximately 21,000 season tickets at higher prices than United. I don't know how many season tickets we sold, but whatever you think of Wednesday's pricing structure it is arguably bringing them more revenue from season ticket sales than ours.

oh. above wednesday yet again in another competition

You're right. They'll easily be exceeding our ticket revenue based on prices. Chansiri is (short term) taking advantage of their recent confidence levels due to previous two seasons. Fine when things are going well. But it's a risky maneuver given their club and supporter demographics. This isn't West London. Their bad spell at the moment is being enhanced by the fans feeling a tad fleeced and it makes steering things back on course a little harder. It makes having faith in your Club a little harder and IMO it heaps just a little bit more pressure on under-performing players. You also really do risk pissing off the elements that have always stood by the club - possibly not important in the PL but still important down the Leagues. Would be very interesting to see their renewal figures at those prices if they continue their relative car crash of a season.

But then when they waste that revenue buying players that their manager cant manage, it puts it in perspective.

They were also 'promised' PL football and now realise that Mr Chansiri actually has no Chansiri of this as he knows sweet FA about football.

Apart from how to sell a shirt for £ 59 that he gets knocked up in a sweat shop for £ 3.
The reason they did not arrive until now is that they are such poor quality they would not have lasted a full season.

No way to treat your 'family'..

if Wendy continue this rich vein of form, it will be interesting to see how many ST's they sell next season, especially at those sky high prices

Does that take into account that entry to Checkatrade cup games may be included?

Yes true, but before anyone gets too alarmed, let’s remind ourselves that Forestieri’s wages alone will swallow up that extra revenue. So Would Hooper’s. So would Fletcher’s. So would Rhodes’s.

Thank fuck “none of our players would make their squad”. :D

You need some clarification. Both the Pigs and Sunderland are averaging nothing like that at home. Niece works at Rustybucket and says they add on S/T holders whether they attend or not. If it was footfall the average would be nearer 23000. The 21000 tickets sold include the 3 season Return To The Premier, not just ones bought for this season. If it did then the ST sales would be higher than the capacity. That's why Pigs and Barnsley fans have been on Praise and Grumble querying the stated attendances.

Tony....do we include season ticket holders in our attendance figures if they don't turn up?...Just asking like..

Nope. Should be made illegal. What if a team, say the Pigs, get only 3895 in the ground but still show it as 25000, seems silly. What if a Nuclear Paraffin bomb hits the Rustbucket and decimates and sulphurises the whole ground. How will they know how many people snuffed it.

It's the Sty, who fucking cares.

Why would they, or any club, exaggerate their attendance figures and therefore revenue for the tax man?

attendance figures and therefore revenue for the tax man?

Seperate figures on yer tax return, tax is only due on any profit not massaged attendance figures designed to show how MASSIVE your team thinks it is.

How much is the tax on £ 20 ? (it's all their worth)
