The Blades have allowed Irish winger Martin Donnelly to go out on loan to Rochdale until the end of the season.
The 19 year old tricky midfielder has come through the ranks with United and made regular appearances for the Reserves over the last couple of seasons.
His loan expires on 6th May and he should have the opportunity of playing league football with the squad that sits just outside the play-offs.
