Wait till you see the 217 crew
Reporting for duty, sir 😁

As an over 60, the price makes it well worthwhile. Sat on the Club Wembley level for the 'Udders game and also sat there with Mrs BoSS and bartman for the England - Croatia game years ago.
I won them (they were the corporate seats my company used) in an internal competition.
Amazingly, none of our clients wanted to use them. Some big financial houses, solicitors etc amongst them.

Aimed for ones that should be in the shade regardless of kickoff time. Not repeating 2009. And then lower tier because I've sat up in the gods enough and I just feel too distant from the action, literally and metaphorically.
I'm intrigued. Which lower tier blocks do you think are going to be safe from the sun irrespective of Kick off Time - presumably ones on the south side - are they available yet?

The whole of the lower half of East side gets it. The West side are fully shaded. It depends on kick off time but whatever it is, the sun will be reasonably high in the sky even for a 5:30 kick off I would imagine

I went off your post here actually and will hope for the best! Probably unavoidable with certain kickoff times. Anyway in block 115. The view from my seat thingy has it in shade but no idea what time of day / month that's based off.

Glad I could help!

Forcast so far is rain

We’ve found some of the cheaper seats to have the best atmosphere but worse facilities / up in the sky

Thats because the sound bounces off the underside of the roof back down at you.

Does the old codger concession kick in at 60?
Asking for a (cough) friend…
Yes it does - its great value as well , i also ( admittedly for an extra £8.27 a season) have a pack of Fishermans Friends sellotaped to the underside of my seat every time we play against a tripple named opponent (ie WBA , QPR, PNE ) and also if we play at home on either April Fools Day , 9/11 anniversary , my mothers birthday or if Jim Davidson is touring Dinnington. ROI is debatable and risky i know but ive always chanced my arm and gone for things in life .

They know how to charge for the FA Cup....

And over 65 for concessions.

Sunderland concessions over 65 also, good on the club 👏 👏 👏 👏

Found a couple more photos from the 2018 L2 playoff final KO 3pm

This is just before KO

Beans I reckon 115 is somewhere in that area I highlighted

And this is when Coventry accrued their 3rd on 69 mins, so roughly 16:30

I reckon you'll be Ok if it's a 3pm start, unless it goes to ET in which case you might get the sun at that point depending on precisely where you are in 115 as this image from Sheffield Wednesday (1990) 123rd minute winner in 2023 indicated (also a 3pm KO)

It's weird that the categories don't match. Looking at the seats which for us are all equally priced 'category 2', in the cup game the ones behind the goal cost £125 while the ones on the second tier cost £255!

BLADES ticket site showing Over 60 , Sunderland Over 65
Also appears that BLADES being charged a booking fee of £2 , with Sunderland being charged £3 booking fee plus £3 Transaction fee
(That is providing I have read and understood it correctly)

Latest update on Pork Talk…

‘Blades only sold 30k because everyone snuck in with an over 60s ticket’
