Your turn - shirt & launch design challenge

Right then.

Everyone's had a bitch and moan about the shirts and launch in the other thread, but how many can do better?

Fire up photoshop (other design editing suites are available) and design:

* a new home and/or away kit

* a launch image for it

The rules:

* Keep it clean

* Try to be mindful of constraining the dimensions of your image, so as not to break the forum completely

Obviously, you're all at a disadvantage as you have no high resolution source images with which to work with.

The prize is nothing more than kudos (and perhaps a phonecall next year when it comes to another kit launch!)

I had a period where - whenever I took racy photos of girls - I made sure some of them were with Blades tops on (or kind of on). Then one day, the infamous website with the semi-nude owlette bimbos hit the internet...

Ever since I have tended to shy away from picturing girls in Blades tops. And yes, I am well aware of the fact that this may well be a post I will regret making... But then again, it's still pre-season, so that's my excuse for the drop in my otherwise impeccable standards and my extremely high post-to-likes ratio.

Even with the wrong season it's about 1Million percent better in design and launch than the one they put out today!

An ex-girlfriend of mine once asked me if I wanted anything 'special' for my birthday and I said I'd like her to wear one of my old Blades shirts while we were on the job (I think I said something about the two things I love most in the world). Trouble is that during the rumpty all I could think of was David Barnes getting sent off at White Hart Lane. On the plus side David Barnes kept the wolf from the door and she was walking like John Wayne for days.

So if you're reading this Dave, thanks.

nice bit o kit that is. thats nearly identical to the design i did. though mine looks crap cos i did it in "ms paint". only thing i did differently was a triangle bit at the bottom on one side, with one each of red white and black stripes going diagonally. just to jazz it up a bit. and thin black and red pinstripes on the collar.

I dont have any sophisticated software, so cant do it properly, but pishing about on ms paint for about 10 minutes i come up with this. Nothing like what i'd do if i had the software and time to do it properly.

To be honest i LOVE the home kit borbokis did and the away kit compound legend came up with. They brought a tear the eye. Really look the part. If anybody beats those two i'll be amazed. We should just ditch our new kit and get those two made up!

I still think Glasgow Blades two shirts, from the other thread, looked superb.

I hope we use the white shirt for away games and never use the yellow thing. There is a precedent for teams not using shirts before. Maybe DW can ban it.
