Your favourite Blades kit?

Morning Blades! As something to lighten the mood at the moment, I'm going to have a go at designing some kits for the lads.

What have been your favourites over the years - home and away? And which ones (like the early 80s yellow/maroon away kit!) have been absolute stinkers?

Loved this one, bought one recently off of Ebay. Happy memories of this shirt.



Oh and the luminous green away one we wore at the same time.

On the flip side, I thought these were pants.

For some reason I still love the kit where we had the string near the collar. I used to wear it all the time as a kid. But know my dog (when it was a pup) somehow got holsd of it and it's now got more holes in than our midfield.

Still got the old pin stripe one shown above. Like that one too.

All kits of late have ben shocking. That's why I haven't bought one for a few years.

i liked the 86/89 away, 89/91, 91/93 away, 90/92 home, the kit i hated was the 95/96 home and the 00/02 3rd kit.

My fave is 81-83 away shirt.
Best of the new concepts posted imo is the one sunderlandblade posted with number 7 next to it as it has striped sleaves and i hate the ones without the stripes on the sleaves.

Would like something with a collar again-back to the good old days. Also like the ones with stripy sleeves and would admire the club if we could pull-off what the baggies did with no sponsor this year.

The first Blades shirt I ever had was one from the mid 70s, an away shirt that doesn't feature on Solomons set of kits. I think it was around 1975, you don't find many references to it. White shirt, with two diagonal red stripes. This is the only pictures I can find, bit small but you get the idea:
