Can't remember the last time we had one of these, so thought I would start this to cheer everyone up a bit. Preferably containing videos too. Doesn't have to just be the best goals either

For the pure cheekiness of it

And my last one but I can't find a video of, is Tri Dellas against Portsmouth (I think it was Portsmouth anyway)

Billy Clarke against Exeter.

The greatest goal scored by a United player in the last 30 years.

Some great memories, and it has done the job in cheering me up abit after the worst performance I think I've ever seen last night....
Always love to see pesch's "oh my god goal" but for the opposition, the night, the crowd, warnocks celebration, the cup run, the radio presenters cheer, the whole thing, jags goal is still the best I've ever seen live

My top three are:

1. Brian Deane's lob against Liverpool in 1992.
2. Tony Agana away against Huddersfield in the cup in 1989.
3. Michael Brown against the Snortbeasts in 2003.

Jon Stead - Charlton away

Stood bang behind it as it rippled into far corner, time stopped still & there was no sound for a split second could see the celebrations but couldn't hear a single thing - fantastic.

Thought that was it walking out The Valley that day, snatched a point against a relegation rival & thought that was that & we'd stay up....as they say the rest is history :(

Keep the faith

The one's that stick out for me are Brownies against the snortbeasts, just pure class. And Jagielka's against Middlesbrough at home, first win in the PL??. I leapt off my seat as soon as it left his boot as I knew it was going in!

We were safe that day. Oh how it changed

Simply this. The best game, atmosphere and thrills that I have ever witnessed. That tackle by Jags. That goal by Kabba. But the best goal I have ever seen (starts at 4:27) by Pesch. Nine touches culminating in an absolutely sublime goal. Messi, eat yer heart out!

you,re forgetting des walkers OG ? :D

Montys goal at Tranmere, one of the few away games I've been to and I loved that goal. I am a big monty fan and to see him score like that was great :)

Actually Walker had a hand in most of United's goals. He was past it when he went to Wendy and a fucking embarassment for England.
See Fjortoft taking advangage of Walker's lack of concentration before teeing up for Leonhardsen to score Norway's 1st goal

Some enjoyable late goals in front of the Kop that spring to mind:

Brian Deane Vs Newcastle 1-1 draw - late equaliser, very vital, scrambled in (Bassett promotion season)

Brian Deane Vs Port Vale 2-1 win - extremely important (the Div 3 to Div 2 promotion)

David Frain Vs Sunderland 1-0 (?) win - quality goal - seem to remember crowd celebrated out of proportion to importance of the goal/win

Tony Agana Vs Barnsley 1-0 win - Bassett just arrived, relegation loomed but this was an important win at the time and, if memory serves, we had battered them all 2nd half..

Marcus Bent Vs Barnsley 3-3 - I think we were 1-3 down and looked like we had no chance - very good to pull it out of the fire with very late equaliser

David Frain Vs Sunderland 1-0 (?) win - quality goal - seem to remember crowd celebrated out of proportion to importance of the goal/win

2-1. Beagrie equalised with a header. Frain came on as sub with a few mins left (many groaned saying putting on a sub was too near the end of the game) and scored with a well executed shot from outside the box

Brian Deane vs chester 1988 i think. I have it on VHS. Matin Pike smashes a daisy cutter towards Deane foot who angles his boot to lob the ball into the far corner. He did it twice that season as well. My hero when growing up and looking for a new challenge in management since doing very well in Norway....

v Bury (won 2-1) and his 2nd goal v Bristol City (won 3-0)

Kevin Arnott away at Southend 1984 ,last minute winner ,Ian Bryson at Dingledell ,last minute winner.and Reeces flying Welshman header v Birmingham which cemented my love for Utd. Any videos of these will be met with much love :)

Bob Booker ive no idea who it was against pretty sure it was a night match, not so much the goal more a sound effect, as the ball struck his head, the quietness of the ground as he headed it, I certainly heard it stood at the back of the kop.

I believe it was Portsmouth - second goal in a 2-1 win, scored in front of the Kop. Would love to see it again but can't find it either.
