I once had no choice but to stay over the weekend in a hotel in Riyadh. On the Thursday evening, I asked the (Lebanese) concierge what there was to do over the weekend. He was a bit taken aback and said that in the five years he'd been working there, nobody had ever asked him that question. He thought about it for a few seconds and then said nothing really, how did I feel about shopping malls and juice bars
