That's a rather nice pastel mural of Henry John Deutschendorf Jr . You don't see many pastel drawings nowadays. I recall Menzel's Wine Bar on Ecclesall Road used to have some rather nice pastel drawings on the walls when it first opened. I do like pastel, I think it's a very soft, elegant, creative medium and lends itself very well to portraits.

I don't know what a Bifta is, (some kind of Award?), so I thought I'd talk about something I know a little bit about instead.
