Let's be honest....you either back Chris or you don't. Which means you back Leon when he's in the team as our battering ram at the opposition back 4 allowing our midfielders to score lots of goals between them. If you don't back Chris then say so ....don't try to use players as a stick to beat Chris with. Be honest & say Chris had done a fantastic job for us....better than you amateur managers could have done...so you will trust in his judgement. Is this so hard to do ? FFS get behind CW s decisions & stop whining & being mardy about Leon. Keith Edwards was fair about this subject today on Radio Sheffield ....what a wonderful respite this is from all the negative whining. We FANS don't want to listen to miserable whining & the fans make a football club not ex players & local media folk.

And we don't want to hear about the great god Duffy either ....when Coutts is match fit & can play 90 minutes the midfield 3 wiĺl be Fleck Coutts & Norwood .....end of. As 4 into 3 doesn't work. Norwood is a fantastic player he takes corners from both sides free kicks & he never stops working for 90 minutes. There is no way on earth he will be dropped for Duffy so deal with it.

Even today on Radio Sheffield Keith Edwards said he had been in the wrong being previously mardy about Leon .....it was so refreshing to hear ...so today I take my hat off to Keith Edwards. Good on you Keith.

Hhhmmmm....as someone just got in from the alehouse at 2 in the morning, and decided to go on the S2 forum with pizza in hand, pissed as a Lord....it seems possible.

FWIW... CW magnificent manager and hopefully with SUFC a long long time. CW can however make mistakes (as we all do) and these should be highlighted and not buried if it happens. It goes with the job.

I back him all the way, superb manager. But, he is not above criticism when he gets it wrong. Barsham is better in midfield than Lundstram and Stearman is very capable in defence.

This.

I'm of the view that you can back something/someone and still be able criticise and disagree with them... This isn't North Korea!!

Chris is A legend, but selling Leonard and Evans has left us light in centre mid...

If I could indulge in a mini view-from re. Evans...
I wasn’t at the Blades game today instead I was with a few mates at Griffin Park as one of the group had won a prize to have a day in corporate there. Anyway, Evans was playing for Wigan, and I can safely say that Wilder selling him was a great decision - sideways, backwards, and if he tried a forward pass it generally didn’t get to where it was intended and moves broke down because of it.
I’ve seen him play well for us, but honestly, we aren’t missing him in the slightest.

You ok Chris?

One of those moments when you wake up after a reyt heavy session, and for the first few minutes think that you've got away with one & didn't do anything embarrassing, and then the memories begin to come back..........oh shit....... :D

Saying that, the unprompted comment "And we don't want to hear about the great god Duffy either", is an absolute pearler. :)

Careful fella...some of the more 'enlightened' individuals who post on here will start saying that you have an 'agenda' if you start saying things like that. Don't you know that Lee Evans was a great little player for us who was never negative or slow in his play at all.....

Whilst finance was a factor, I'm of the opinion that there was reason that CW wasn't too fussed to see him go.

But we needed to sell Evans to bring in Norwood. There probably isn’t the budget for a new midfielder and as people have said with rotation we are okay in that position especially when Coutts is fit.

And tbh Leonard and Holmes hardly played when they were here anyway.

Laney comes on every Saturday night, pissed as a fart presumably, and instigates various paranoid discussions centering around everybody being 'against' Chris Wilder or certain players.
