Yeah definitely not that old. He was a few years old than me at school and I'm 35.

Johnny was a year younger than me so he'd be 65/6.
Tough lad from a tough family off Spring Close Dell, Gleadless Valley.
His late brother Cliff, was on United's books as an amateur, about to sign a pro contract, when a car accident left him paralysed from chest down.
Their dad was a hard case too..
RIP Johnny.

I knew Johnny & Cliff from school , Cliff was in my class & an outstanding sportsman & gymnast. Johnny was a year or two younger than me but I knew him well . RIP Blade.
