Yesterday......

Kids home from London for dad-in-laws 80th birthday bash early doors...

then....nice 3 mile walk with missus, kids and the dachshunds to Todwick

then...full English cooked by son who's also going down to BDBL

then....couple of pre-match pints of fine real ales in the Devvy Cat

then...90 minutes of pure excitement and joy on the kop watching something i first fell in love with in 1970.

then...20 minutes of pure joy listening to the 'gloom and doom' from the grunters on Praise & Grumble

then...party commences at 6 with top barby, again cooked by top son

then...copious amounts of more fine ales - so much so I fucking danced with the grand kids on the Wii 2 dance mat for an hour !

then ...collapsed into bed around midnight with a smile that the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland would have been fucking proud of...!

If Carling did red and white Saturdays in sunny Sheffield......UNFORGETTABLE !!!

I haven't been that excited before a game since we played Hull in the semi.
Celebrated with a bottle of prosecco in Sheaf Island with the mrs after the game (having already had a couple of pints).
