As others on here have already observed, I thought it was so obvious that Blackwell's instructions were play the ball to feet at all times. Problem is, because the concept of passing is so alien to most of our players, it looked obvious many of them had no clue what to do with the ball or making themselves available for a pass.

Without wanting to repeat any comments already made about Blackwell, I thing generally he is quite a wet, moaning minnie to put it nicely. Nobody's perfect, but the bloke never smiles, always seems stressed and under pressure and he couldn't work for a more patient chairman to be honest.

He wanted to walk after the defeat to Burnley and I would have been quite happy for him to do so, even though we finished 3rd last season. He doesn't come across to me as a positive person - Warnock did (despite the moaning), Robson did. Blackwell, plain and simple, does not. Surely this has to rub off on the players. KB always has the world against him. I just feel for the shit he had at Luton and the shit he had at Leeds, he should be absolutely buzzing to be working at SUFC.

KB said on football heaven on Friday "we are not good enough for automatic promotion". I think the players are. To me, it's the manager who isn't good enough for automatic promotion.

As for the injuries...

Naysmith - massive loss. Thought he was one of the best players last season.
Kenny - not an injury but looking like a huge loss. Bunn, plain and simple, not experienced enough. Bennett is decent but time not on his side.
Monty - Ok, a loss but should we really fall to pieces without him? No.
Williamson - Hasn't been involved all season.
Evans - Has a knock. Can't be that bad if he's starting and scoring.
Ward - Massive loss as I feel he was coming into his own before the injury.

From the above, I'd say we've got 3-4 injuries. Tell me a club that is not missing a similar amount. Blackwell needs to stop moaning about it and stop this awful 'the other team know each other better' nonsense.

Next two games are huge. Defeats against Newcastle and Barnsley and I genuinely think he will walk.

Great summary. He seems to make the job so difficult, like he's trying to keep Plymouth up or something similar. He winds me up beyond what should be humanly possible for a mature, married, father with job worries! That's me not KB by the way.

I've been harping on about playing a more attractive style of football so can't grumble about yesterday.

I've totally given up hope of promotion under Blackwell and he aint going to be sacked anytime soon so best we can hope for is an attempt to play a better style.

No doubt pretty soon we'll get from KB 'the fans asked for passing football, looked where it's got us - bottom 6.' It will be our fault.

Agree with both posts
Yesterday much more pleasing to the eye same defensive errors Result Another loss
No we don't stand a cat in hells chance of promotion under Blackwell
He is just not good enough
Move over Mr B for all our sakes!
