Yeah, I got that but 45 quid is still a lot to shell out when you can't exchange it if the size isn't right.

Cus they didn't have to print players names, sponsors names and all that sh1te on them back them. The only logical reason for a plain back is so you can read all the stuff on there. Bring back the good old red and white stripes with numbers 1-11 rather than what we have now.

Remember standing on the kop previous season watching Givens, nowt more to be said, with tears welling absolutely stunned !
What to do next ? Every home game and loads of away that's what. Often think back to that season good memories - still glad it was only one though.

I saw this and went along to look. Great condition shirt, with the original Hobbott collar label. 4 on the back, so if it’s genuine, it was worn by Kenworthy / McPhail.

Hammer price was £520, so with buyer’s premium, that makes the final selling price in the region of £650 !

In the same auction, was a late 60s/early 70s home shirt with 2 on the back, which meant it would have been worn by Len Badger.

Faint impression of a 27 on the front, which authenticates it IMO as back then, felt numbers were applied by the club to the front of old match worn shirts, to be used for training etc, before being passed on to local league teams. The badge is slightly offcentre, and (using this as reference) I did indeed find a couple of photos online of Len Badger wearing this very shirt ... possibly from the 70/1 promotion season !

After attracting numerous bids, the hammer price was £850, making the final selling price in the region of £1100 !
