i was lucky enough to know the family before they won the lottery as they were neighbours. the best compliment that i can give them is that what Barbara and Ray went on to do what they did was genuinely NOT a shock to anyone who lived on Jordanthorpe at the time.

Thank you all once again for your kind words about my parents, it's very humbling.

What is humbling is their first thoughts were what they could do for others.

To be perfectly honest if any of us won that amount I would guess 99.9% of us would think about what, car, house boat etc we could buy ourselves.

Truly good selfless people. I'm sorry for your loss.
