I think referees should keep a closer eye on players who feign injury. The number 8 who had long enough treatment to get a filling in his teeth was running around like a blue arse fly 30 seconds later. I think Charlie deserved a red - but the bloke was OK. The number 7 was more tearful at having a penalty saved - than anything else he did an cleanly expected some sort of intervention from the ref.

Any player who makes a remarkable recovery from a feigned injury should receive a yellow card.

It's my number 1 pet hate in football and I can never understand why referees don't card players for simulation. You see it all the time. Player is fouled. Player rolls around and milks any minor injury that they got. Player gets treatment. Player gets up and limps until the ball is played into a position where their team looks likely to score, then they make a miraculous recovery and sprint towards the ball and never limp again. Card them for simulation. How can the referee, two assistants and the fourth official not see blatant faking injury, but 27,000 fans can? It shouldn't be accepted as part of the game. It's a form of deceit and cheating. Surely it falls under the offence of ungentlemanly conduct?

Travis was a disagrace tonight and Buckley and the No 7 have previous for falling about (no complaints with the red) How Gallagher got away without a yellow for a blatant cheating dive in the box only the ref knows
