He 's made some decent signings, he's trying to get us to play passing football, but the results aren't there. So would you give him the sack?

My answer is that he has until the end of November
He 's made some decent signings,
He's made 2 or 3 decent signings but most of the players he has brought in are worse than we had already
sack Weir then the club postpone the Coventry match due to the 3 call ups and this will give more time for the new manager to prepare for the Port Vale game (I will not be there as my family will be visiting my younger daughter at Newcastle University)
Can I ask where you get the confidence to give him that amount of games? What is it that DW has done to date to get this amount of time?
It isn't confidence, it's just reality and necessity.
I want Weir to be successful as I like the concept he is trying to instil and it needs time to gel. We have had an influx of new players and they need to understand each other for the system to become internalised.
10 games is not enough time in my opinion and at the end of November there will have been 19 League games played. Only then do we have a chance to assess what is happening. If there is improvement in the play and we are moving away from the relegation zone then he can carry on for me.
If nothing has changed, or if there has been insufficient change, then a new manager will have a few games to get to know his new squad so that he can make adjustments in the JTW and there will still be 27 games to play.
We've had seven managers (including Carver and Morgs) since 2010 and I'm prepared to give this one a chance to prove himself.
If we're still struggling in the relegation zone at the end of November, even if we are a few points adrift and especially as we actually have some decent players now, I have no doubt that we will bring in a manager of calibre and have no worries that we won't rise up the division.
So if he isn't successful by November we bring in someone to fight relegation? I can only hope that he realises that when you push up 15 yaards on teams like we did for the last 25 minutes last night we can cause problems. If he doesn't then he's just an idiot. It's taken him 10 and a half games to get to something we would even consider a good performance. I want him to succeed, however he is not learning from his mistakes.
No, we bring in someone to develop the team to rise, Phoenix-like through the divisions!
The next games will show if he is learning anything.
Trouble is, you see, changing managers is no guarantee of success, as you know from the fact that Mr Weir is the 7th manager since 2010 and look where we are!
The first half yesterday reminded me of a display on a boxing day , away at port vale
Eleven players who looked like they needed a sat nav to find the opposition half, they seemed to believe that they would catch hepatitus b if they touched the ball, some sauntered about playing at being shaun the sheep, staring at grass and going baa, inept doesnt begin to cover it
Get shot of this clueless numpty before its too late, its Martin Peters all over again , my grandsons child minder does better motivation

Seem to remember similar thoughts in the mid 70's and a few seasons ago - still got relegated
