I'd be quite happy for us to be in the Premier League, them to be in the Northern Counties East League and never have a derby ever again.

I'd even rather not have them, than win them. In fact, i wish the other lot would just stop existing completely. The years when they were stuck in midtable division 3 and we pretty much forget they even existed, were the best years ever.

Why do you hate them?

At the end of the day some SC derbies we'll win, some we'll draw and some we will lose as with most other clubs we face, that is football.

United actually have the better record after 127 meetings with 45 victories, 40 draws and 42 Piggy victories plus we've scored more than them.

I hope that makes you feel at least a little better about them!

You know what Danny , I used to feel exactly the same , could never understand all the hassle between both sets of fans , my own family had 3 pig fans in it , but in the eighties when I used to make a 12 hour round trip to see the Blades , every 2weeks at home , the only kick in I got wasn't from the scouser boys at lime street station, or the man city boys at either train station in Manchester, no I got rag dolled by 3 pigs at midland station , so fuck that cunt club and everything blue and shite

Nah to me they're like crabs. Sure it feels good to beat them, but i'd rather never have to meet them in the first place. They aren't really a rivalry, more an irritant i'd rather live without.
