The biggest problem I have with Wilder is the comment about there being nothing wrong with the system a few weeks ago. Why can't he see we ve been worked out? It's been obvious for months.

Teams are packing their own box and preventing us from getting round the back. This usually restricts us to only having the option of a deeper cross with 2 players in the box against 4/5 opponents, as we commit 3/4 players to try and achieve the overlap. As a result of the packed box we often turn down the opportunity to cross and either overplay then get caught on the break or pass back to Ramsdale who hoofs it down the pitch.

Opponents are playing through the middle more and over running us. Usually 1 of our 3 midfielder players is out wide supporting the wing backs to achieve 2 v1 situations, which we rely on to create space as we have no players who are capable of beating an opponent in a 1v1. As a result, if it breaks down we are wide open with only Norwood as a barrier.

yes your spot on agree 100% with you lve loved what chris wilder has done for this club in the last 4 years but this seasons chris wilder is a different person completely this ridiculous comment about the system working is nonsense it most definetly is not i just wonder if hes had enough and his agenda is to be sacked

I asked the question on his behalf back in November when the car crash was coming over the horizon
Cue the pig insults, obviously - but his team selection, lack of plan B, defeatist interviews and general malaise that’s around the club now will take us down in a few weeks

My concern is we come back for pre season and the lads roll their eyes with a “here we go again” attitude

I know people may point to Norwich as a example of how to stick with a manager and see the benefits
But they fought, never spent and put in some god performances, even in the games we have won, I wouldn’t say we were brilliant, got a job done yes, worldie no.

I mentioned previously that we have spent £130m since promotion to the premiership and not improved the squad.
Looking at first choices for the team I would suggest

Ramsdale has replaced ( 18 m )
Berge replaced Norwood ( 20 m )

Other than that I would say we have the same players in the other 9 positions. Subsequently squad better but team marginally so and whilst a stronger squad is important the £90m spent in the squad bound and should have been used for two midfield players at £15m each still leaving £60m for the squad.
Yes v easy in my world but discuss with most supporters And they feel the same.
I want him to stay but he must change his ways and accept advice on transfers.

Norwood and Lundstram Have been an embarrassment to the shirt at times this season yet we have no options to change personnel and CW says no flexibility with the system.

If he worked in my company with such little preparation and flexibility I would have asked him to change his ways, accept advice in certain areas or step aside.
