Worst we've been...

Stunned that no one has mentioned us losing 3-0 at home to Stoke under Robson. Stephen Quinn had a daisy cutter that the keeper comfortably saved in the last minute, pretty sure that was the only shot we had on target. It produced the most sarcastic of cheers I've ever heard at the Lane.

At half-time, they had some wankers come out and perform some awful Christmas song with some choreographed dance moves to a chorus of boo's from a bunch of pissed off Blades. It was hysterical.

I think that was the game where Phil Bardsley make it abundantly clear that running after a football for Sheffield United was quite beneath him. The idle overpaid chuff.

When Portsmouth put us to sleep in 30 minutes winning 3 nil a few years back, only positive from that day was the samba dancers walking past away end

It was bloody grim back then! I was at the Altrincham game, definitely the most abject performance I've seen by a Blades team.

I was also at the Carlisle game (what a journey that was!) and left with a few others convinced Peters was the man to take us back up. Boy did that come back and bite me on the arse!
I made the journey up the previous season as well , beaten 1-0 , what a fucking trip up there .
3-0 then winning next 2 , thought this is it boys :(
The only good thing was getting to be mates with Bunny and a few others !!!

Spineless loss to Fleetwood at home under Clough.

Clueless home performance under Adkins against Shrewsbury.

Hard to separate those two.

29/12/2012 - Losing 2-3 at home to Hartlepool - a team that had only won once all season I think it was, and we made them look world beaters. The slide that season began here as we were top I think and it is a perfect foreshadowing of the next few years.
12/01/2013 - Losing 0-2 at home to Yeovil - a truly pathetic performance against a very shit side with the lumbering Kitson and then-useless Murphy upfront offering nothing, followed swiftly by a George Long assist on a plate for Paddy Madden.
16/03/2013 - Losing 0-4 at Stevenage - it was a very shit performance but they seemed to score with every shot and became a bit silly. Was truly angry after this but we were still in a reasonable position? Surely this was a wake up call? Hmm...
09/04/2013 - Losing 0-2 at home to Crawley - Who? Who?! First time we'd lost to a team I'd genuinely never heard of prior to this season and it was a scary realisation that we weren't good enough. But! We were still 5th? I think. But it was a very lethargic and pathetic showing from players like McDonald, Murphy, Maguire etc who you knew had more to offer. Wilson was sacked. Rightly or wrongly, you decide. But this was the most depressing night of the season so far.
06/05/2013 - Losing 2-0 at Yeovil (2-1 on aggregate) - Watching from the sofa I was quietly confident... no I fucking wasn't and it was perfectly compounded as we conceded within minutes. Yet another season in League 1 was on the cards following a total non-display of overpayed wankers.
16/11/2013 - Losing 1-2 at home to Gillingham - I've wasn't able to attend during Weir's reign apart from the first day so had to wait a while for my first non-display from the Blades. We were pathetic and despite a bit of upturn in form following Clough's appointment this left me the most depressed I'd felt, I was now worrying about League 2...
01/02/2014 - Crewe away... 0-3 - Definitely the worst I've felt during our time in League 1. Felt broken. Felt that that was that and League 2 football followed as we couldn't escape the rut. 23rd in February... it'd take a miracle to finish in the top half...
26/12/2014 - Losing 2-1 at Port Vale - Obvious reasons. We were dog shit and the trek back home was a nightmare. Thanks for ruining the holidays United.
07/03/2015 - 1-2 against Fleetwood at home - Following conceding twice in the last few minutes to throw away a what-would've-been fluked win against Peterborough in midweek, a win was on the cards surely? Nope. Anger, frustration and all the other pitiful emotions were expressed immensely after this debacle. Utterly awful and the worst I've felt to date.
28/03/2015 - 1-2 against Crewe at home - yet another wank display of the same ilk. Still no defence or passion or clue in the players and management. The defining moment for me when their effort straight at Howard powered its way through his spaghetti fingers - Clough was on thin ice. Gutless. The worst I've felt. And what the fuck is it with Crewe?!
14/04/2015 - 1-0 loss at Yeovil - didn't go but it seems to be popular, in there for the fans - so to speak.
11/05/2015 - That crazy 5-5 at Swindon - it wasn't the worst performance in the balance of things - attack was great but the defence was well and truly embarrassing. Worst 15 minute spell as a Blade so far for me. Brayford was then confirmed as knacked, League 1 for another fucking year, and the final nail on the coffin of a dreadful, dreadful League season. Almost any home league game may have been showcased in this.

2015/16 season:
Opening day 0-4 defeat at Gillingham.
Tonked 1-3 at home to Bury.
Shown up by the worst team in the league at the time - 2-3 against Colchester.
Allowing Millwall to stroll to a win at the Lane losing 1-2.
Losing 1-0 against a side who I've had it with - as well as, as somebody has mentioned, Adkins bigging them up to be world beaters which, sadly, we made them look. (Crewe)
2-4 at home to Shrewsbury - need I say more? Worst I've felt during League 1.
Beating Coventry 1-0. Fucking hated that win. Not to stick it to the Cov fans but the manner of the win. We were shit!!!
0-0 at Blackpool. BORING.
0-1 at Bury. Worst I've felt blah blah blah.
Burton at home and getting down on all fours for them to an untroubled 1-0 win.
The TV 1-3 loss at Southend further illustrating Adkins' cluelessness and thumbs-up-to-failure attitude. Fucking hell that night was embarrassing.
0-2 last day of the season against Scunny. We let them win, totally spineless and just shit. And was followed by Adkins having a dig at the fans - the most ballsy statement from him during his season with us. What a cunt.
Last season was frighteningly bad.
I'm so so sorry for bringing these back up but let's not forget the good times, there have been a few.

Oh and Southend this season. Worst I've felt. ;)

Plenty to choose from over the past few seasons but Carlisle away under wier was a low point. It sticks out for me not just for the result and the lowly league position at the time but because we were so shit!

Look at our team that day... has to be an all time low surely.
