The young Brownie attended his first game in 1982 aged 4

He can categorically state in 2016 at the age of 38 that today was the worst Sheffield United team he has ever seen.

He would also like to know where to apportion the blame as he knows things shouldn't be like this

In no way is this worst team david weirs is still the worst by miles while ever we are creating a few chances. Let's not forget baxter won goal of the month by default because we scored 1goal in 6 weeks & were seemingly allergic to penalty area

The team that got relegated from the Championship was the worst still.

Think of Bogdanovic, Henderson and Nosworthy then our current squad don't seem so bad.

There are so many threads and posts to reply to in such a negative way, where does one begin?

Let's just relax lads it's bad right now and I've took some stick from the blue and white bastards tonight .
It will come good blades trust me, goodnight

Think of Sammon, Collins, and Coutts of today and then Bogdanovic, Henderson and Nosworthy don't seem so bad.....

As a team we are poor but no individual current player would get in my worst 11 ( been going since 1980). Even recently Darryl Westlake, Marcus Williams and Billy Paynter are far worse than any player in our current squad.

In reality, the side that got us relegated from this league back in 1981 were the worst side we've ever had. This lot are not far off that. I think the worst player I've seen in a blades shirt though is still Andy Barnsley.

I'm not saying you are wrong, I was a bit young to remember Andy Barnsley's performances, but he seems a bit of a random player to have as worst ever player. I remember him as being mediocre, but I'm sure we have had far worse players!

Hard to disagree with the op.

I first started going to BL in 1982, when we had just come up from the 4th.

You can't compare the likes of Edwards, Morris and company with this shower of excrement.
