As Brownie got an Enver Hoxha like result for the no.7 shirt everyone else goes into the mix for the nightmare squad...

When a 'worse no#' vote comes up containing a player from today's squad there should be no competition! This is easily the worst team i can remember, possibly in the club's history.

Probably a bit harsh as Long, Maguire, Brandy, Baxter aren't the worst players to have played in their squad numbers since 1999 but there certainly should be a high proportion of current players in the worst squad since 1999.

It takes a special player to make me vote for someone other than Luton Shelton, so well done Ryan.

I'm torn between Mendez-Laing, Flynn and Shelton. But at least Shelton gave us a good game against both Manchester clubs in league (Man Utd 06/07) and Cup (City 07/08 Balloon goal).

Ryan Flynn is another example of how substandard Scottish football is in comparison. Why we needed further evidence in Murphy and Taylor I'll never understand.

I'm basing my decision on a cost/benefit ratio.

Clear winner on that basis - Luton Shelton.

A choice of three for me, Shelton looked promising in the odd game, Mendez Laing, not really a blade was he, so given the level all the others played at (Championship mainly), and as others have alluded to, then sadly I'd have to consider how badly Flynnie would look in a higher division, so he gets my vote.

Am I wrong, .....but do i get the impression that the nightmare squad is more fun to compile :)
