The memory is fading and many of these grounds have changed since I went there, So bear with me..
Any stand that's built on scaffolding or made of plastic - Priestfield, The Withdean, Crawley
Any stand where the roof is so small it provides no cover to the elements - Stevenage, Fleetwood, Crewe
Any that is open to the elements - Priestfield, (honourable mentions to Manor Ground, Saltergate, The Shay, Bristol Rovers Memorial ground, York, Luton, sealand road, Springfield park
Any where the khazi has one cubicle, Izal if you're lucky, a painted wall with a trough to piss in, the sulphurous residue of a 1000 men lingering on and where basic human hygiene needs of running water are not met - Priestfield, London Rd, The County Ground, Brisbane Road, Portman Road, Southend, layer road, Millmoor,
Any stand where you think 'if there was a disaster of some sort what's my plan?' - The pig dome, Stadium of Light,
But nowhere, no matter how dangerous, rank, wet or cold can compete or compare with the feeling of being in the away end at Stamford Bridge in 94 or Wembley in 97.... for me that was the worst away end to be in....
I'd rather bathe in the urinal residue of a 1000 pigs and forever have Izal than Supersoft than be there again...
Never... nothing can ever compare with the feeling in those away ends on those early Summer days that trust me is still there today..
