I quite liked Alan Young. I can remember being very excited when we signed him but unfortunately he suffered a lot with injury and I don't think we ever saw the best of him.

The James guy we had on load from Blackburn?
Ashley Ward?

I could go on. Hendersons biggest problem is he is frustrasting to watch and probably worse to play with....but he aint the worse centre forward to pull on a Blades shirt

Walked out of the South Stand today and got chatting to a fella who I have never seen before in my life who calmly and collectedly stated that Darius Henderson is the worse CF he has seen is 60 years at the Lane.

I've only been watching Sheffield United for 11 years and Henderson wouldn't even get into a Top 20 of the worst strikers I've seen for us.

That fella was either a moron or he has some kind of irrational hatred for Henderson.

Yesterday Henderson should have scored at least a couple. I don't know if he still isn't match fit or at least match sharp or that he has more or less given up hope and can't be arsed. However, in his defence yesterday in the build up to the goal Hendo waved Slew forward as Slew was about to wander off wide and indicated that he should stay in close. Slew did this and Hendo set him up. For this alone yesterday Hendo earned his money. It's unlikely, but that goal could make the difference between staying up and going down.

Thing is,he'd be far more effective if he played in behind the front two...for instance,let's just say we sign a new forward in pre-season with a bit of pace,you'd have him as a link man,so he could knock them down for the 2 pace men (Slew and A.N Other) to chase onto ...so playing in effect, 4- 3- 1 - 2 , or 4-3-3 if you like....

2million quids worth of red cards rather than goals and if he sells for anywhere near a million quid then I will eat my hat.

Although despite that Id not say he was the worst CF we have had.

In my lifetime Ashley Ward is still the worst.
