This is probably right. Pre-season they give a 33% weighting to a club's transfer value according to transfermarkt.com.

Leed's squad value is alledgedly twice ours, (and Villa more than triple) which is clearly tripe. It may be partially affected by them having £25m worth of loan signings.

What I don't quite understand is that, given how undervalued our squad is, why we haven't got a massive rating from outperforming everyone last year. I can only assume that's outweighed by the low squad value.
