I suppose you could say he’s in Danny’s book about Wilder. Does it have to be a fictional character? I don’t really know anything about it tbh. If non fiction’s allowed then it’s pretty much anyone famous, which seems to miss the point a bit but I suppose anything that gets a kid to pick up a book and have a go at reading it can’t be a bad thing. In fact, I wonder how many kids will one day say ‘that was the first proper book I read’?

Maybe his favourite character would involve either; a) buying tonnes of stuff to make a costume that would be worn once or b) about 2 hours to make from odds and ends. Maybe like you say he sadly hasn't got a favourite character. I do think it's great though that he's enthusiastic about something and hasn't been compelled to fit in with the forced narrative.
