To go back to your list Beighton Blade, as you kindly gave one, I'll give my thoughts too.
Horsfield - Couldn't agree more.
Lucketti - One last season as cover maybe, but could well be one to get rid of. Probably vying with Ehiogu as to which one goes, if indeed it is only one.
Gillespie - I know I keep banging on about this,, but I still think he has a role to play, so long as we play him for what he is. An out and out winger. Sornob played him inside and narrowed the team to such an extent that we couldn't exploit his talent. The one time he did? We butchered Ipswich 3-1 (one disallowed, and he scored). Worth another yer, wages permitting.
Seck - Depending on the terms of his long term loan (and if we could loan him out again), maybe one to keep as a squad player. If he hasn't improved since we got him, then aye, get rid.
Speed - Has been an important part of steadying the midfield. In fact, he probably created it as we barely had one beforehand. Worth keeping for his experience, or as player/coach, assuming he wants his badges.
Ehiogu - Has played well in his few appearances, but it's between him and Lucky for the push.
Hendrie - Go. Now. Please. I won't ask nicely again.
Bennett & Gerrard - We need cover as we don't have Jags for emergencies during match play*, and Blackie's not going to re-register like he did the other year

. I don't think we need three experienced keepers though. How's Jamie Annerson been doing on loan?
Naysmith - Wasn't convinced when he turned up, and was dreadful under Sornob, but has improved (or more likely been played properly) under King Kev II. I just wonder if he's on Premiership wages though, and may be part of the wages cull.
Montgomery - Still vital in this division for me, when his foot is right. I just wish he could pass a ball, but he'd have to learn to pass water first. Blood, guts and thunder, and possibly the beating heart of the midfield when he's back. We need to have the brain to go alongside him though. Every side needs a stopper, and he's ours.
*I don't think I could live through another farce like Roger Nilsen being in the net v Norwich one Sunday afternoon about 12 years ago. I thought someone had slipped me LSD.
