Ben Woodburn looks set to leave Liverpool on loan again in January.

The 19-year-old Wales international spent the first half of the season on loan at Sheffield United but returned to Anfield a few weeks ago. Former Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard is interested in taking him at Rangers while West Brom could also make a play.

Looks like he's coming to Oxford, have seen a few comments questioning attitude is that the case? if he played the big time Charlie for you cant see it ending well for us.

he didn't i don't think. he just wasn't good enough to warrant a place in the first 11. Wilder only picks players on merit. he doesn't give a monkeys about reputations

As soon as I read this I thought ‘no chance, spoilt brat’.

During his schooling, Liverpool agreed to a request from Woodburn's parents that he should stay at home rather than in Rainhill, which was closer to the academy in Kirkby. In order to facilitate his development, the club arranged for a driver to transport him every day from training back to his home in Tattenhall.[7

This seemed to originate from fans just based on his poor performances, but there was absolutely nothing, not even a hint from Wilder, to suggest anything on that front. When asked he’d simply say that Woodburn, like others out of the team, was working hard but just unable to get in.

It was a hugely disappointing spell. But in his defence, Duffy’s is not the easiest position to play and Duffy is not the easiest to displace, certainly not from stints off the bench. Carruthers and Holmes couldn’t displace him the previous season, and not even Brooks really took to that position on the occasions tried (better suited playing more advanced off Clarke). What Woodburn now needs are regular games – perhaps Oxford can get his form back. It’s certainly too early to write his career off.

He probably didn't have a drivers' licence.
